Why I started writing here
I’ve managed client relationships and executive programs for years. Most of what I know came from doing the work—not from a syllabus.
I studied political science and foreign policy. I served with International Justice Mission in Thailand, where “law and order” wasn’t an abstract idea—it showed up in decision memos, visitor protocol, and the daily work of protecting dignity. I built a career in New York convening senior leaders. Through all of it, one thread holds: people trust you when the structure behind your word is sound.
I started this site because my long-term goal is to serve as a diplomat—and because I believe the skills that matter in that work (listening, accountability, cultural humility, clear communication) are worth writing about now, wherever you are in your career.
You’ll find posts on client relations, programs and events, leadership, public service, and the lessons from a path that didn’t follow a straight line.
Thanks for being here.
